Big and Tall Shorts

Finding resources for tall people is quite a chore. Unless you are looking for clothes, then, you are going to find a wealth of information. I took some time to research what information and what resources are there for tall people (trying to avoid the clothing only sites). Below is what I came up with.

1. Tall Clubs International is a social club for men taller than 6’2” and women taller than 5’ 10”. They have gatherings and provide information for tall people and educate the world on the needs of tall people. Tall Clubs international have a great deal of local organizations. You can find them on my article 101 Resources for Big and Tall Men.

2. The Height Site is a resource site for tall men and women that features such things as health and merchandise specifically for tall people.

3. The Tall Street Journal is an online community for tall people that includes a forum, member blogs, an events page and a groups page.

4. Not Much Fits UK is a blog about tall people in the news, historical tall people, and shopping resources for tall shopping in the United Kingdom.

5. Tall Houston is a site that provides news, events, humor, and products for Tall people. The site hasn’t been updated in a while, but there is still some good information on the site.

6. Joerg’s TallWomen.org site is an incredible resource for tall women. Health, fashion, dating and information about famous tall women are just a few of the subjects broached on this site.

7. Tall Girl Writes is a blog by Rebecca Thomas, who was a guest columnist for the New York Times. She talks about her life and the issues she faces being a 6’ 4” woman.

8. KT’s Tall Girl Experience is a blog in with the author, KT, talks about issues tall women face. She encourages feedback and even asks readers to suggest topics.

9. Tall Women’s Resources is a blog/news site that features all aspects of living as a tall woman. It provides articles on self-esteem, fashion, advice and much more.

10. Tall Corina is a blog that features the life of Corina. Her site is “dedicated to help tall women feel beautiful and confident.” She includes stories and pictures of herself as well as having a private members gallery to view more of her pictures.

11. Tall Expression Magazine is a magazine for tall women that features fashion and inspiring self-esteem building stories.

12.  Tall Womens Club A site based out of Australia that is a support and social group for tall women. They feature several outing and events for tall people (men and women) to get to know and interact with each other.

13. Too Tall? Sometimes You Think So is a blog this is mostly about finding clothes that fit tall women, but does share some insights on being tall.

14. Mimioso provides personal insight from a 6’ 3” woman that lives in Adelaide, South Australia via her blog.

15. The Tall Men Group is a bulletin board community that provides support for tall men. This site also has a chat room where members can converse in real time.
