People come across websites that call for fat acceptance, size acceptance, or fat advocacy everyday. And there are more created each day. The “world” in which these sites exist (really how these sites are classified) is called the Fat-o-sphere. These sites may vary depending on the points of view or lifestyles of the author or authors. Some may simply be an anti-dieting, some may include gay rights, some may advocate HAES, some may advocate weight loss surgery and some may oppose it. In any case, these collected works are the world of the Fat-o-sphere. Below I have presented a nice cross sampling of the Fat-o-sphere in hopes that it can help you in your quest to learn more about size acceptance. I am listing what I consider a great cross-section of the more well known blogs on the web. It should be noted that most of these blogs are predominately authored by women. I did attempt to search for some blogs written by men, but there were not that many and most have not been updated in a long time, in some cases several years.

I set as a criterion that this list should contain regular and recent updates, and made very few exceptions to that rule.

So I encourage you to visit and patronize the sites as they contain a wealth of information and knowledge.

Enjoy!
